Desi: A Pub Story is a journey through the pubs created within the South Asian communities of the UK. Through the common language of beer, food and a strong sense of community spirit, these landlords open up about their lives.

From the struggles against the National Front, to the struggle for South Asian women to be welcome in these spaces, Desi: A Pub Story presents an insight into the often overlooked story that sits at the heart of the British South Asian community.

With interviews and features from the likes of Bobby Friction, Sunny Hundal, Panjabi Hit Squad, Pragna Patel and an array of publicans and punters, Desi: A Pub Story features key voices tied together by the narrator and presenter Zaki Solosho.
