Shepherd Neame are delighted to invite you to join us at a special launch event to celebrate the new-look Woolpack Inn, Chilham.
Gordon, Sharon and the Thompson Family have worked with Shepherd Neame during the past six months to transform the 600-year-old country Inn into a stylish, welcoming venue with a touch of luxury.
Care has been taken to enhance and retain the historic building’s period features and character while introducing a stylish, contemporary feel. The Woolpack Inn’s 16 bedrooms, situated throughout the main house, The Old Stables to the rear and Rose Cottages across the road, are also being refurbished to a high standard.
A delicious new menu has been introduced, offering a diverse selection of dishes using locally sourced ingredients and world flavours. Guests can enjoy Shepherd Neame’s award-winning range of ales and lagers, along with an extensive list of premium wines, spirits and cocktails.
To celebrate The Woolpack Inn’s new look and offer, we are hosting a launch event at the pub on Monday, June 24.
It is taking place from 7pm to 9pm, with canapés and drinks provided for guests, and a presentation to be made by our Chief Executive Jonathan Neame at 7.30pm.
Guest of honour at the event will be Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger, Honorary Chairman of Champagne Taittinger, which has planted over 100 acres of vineyard in Chilham and will later this summer open its stunning new winery Domaine Evremond, all just a short distance from the pub.
