Campervan Brewery re-opens their taproom!

Leith-based Campervan Brewery have re-opened their family friendly taproom after an exciting renovation and expansion. Creators of Leith Juice, and the innovators behind Scotland’s first gluten free Nitro Porter, Extra Black, Campervan Brewery have their sights set high and are looking forward to welcoming local Leithers to their new venue.

In the past, Campervan Brewery had a small taproom based within their brewery, but since a new unit has opened up next door, they have expanded and carried out a renovation, creating a warm, friendly taproom, offering Campervan favourites as well as taproom exclusives found nowhere else.

The brewery, established in 2017, have had many exciting announcements of late. For example, Leith Juice, their flagship IPA is now gluten free. This comes after another firm favourite, Leith Pils, was made gluten free in 2022. Since then, Campervan Brewery have been in the spotlight after releasing Extra Black, in early 2023. Akin to Guinness, Extra Black is a dark beer, with milk chocolate and coffee flavours, creating a rich and perfectly balanced beer.

At the beginning of 2024, the brewery itself underwent a huge expansion, increasing their fermenting capacity by 50% by installing state-of-the-art equipment.

When asked about the new taproom, Paul Gibson, Managing Director at Campervan Brewery, said, “We’ve loved having a tiny taproom within our brewery thus far, but our new taproom is huge, with a projector to show sports and movies, so we are all very excited for this new chapter. We’ll be having events, food trucks and live music – the best way to keep up to date with this is to follow us on Instagram @campervan_tap. Come along and have a pint, folks!”.
