Fuller’s has an award winning week

Fuller, Smith & Turner PLC, the London brewer and premium pub company, is delighted to announce that its craft lager, Frontier, has won a gold medal at the International Brewing Awards, in the International Keg Lager category. The awards took place in Burton-on-Trent across three days. Over 1,100 beers and ciders, split into 44 different categories, were judged and Frontier won against 22 other keg lagers in its category.

Earlier on in the week, Fuller’s also won three awards at the London Drinker Festival in Camden. HSB won the CAMRA Champion Beer of London in the Strong Bitter category and London Porter won the Porter category and was named the overall CAMRA Champion Beer of London.

Fuller’s Head Brewer, Georgina Young, said: “What a great start to my time as Head Brewer at Fuller’s. These awards are a testament to John Keeling’s legacy and I’m excited to be part of Fuller’s next brewing chapter. I am extremely proud of our beer range and the fact that two of our oldest brands can win awards in the same week as one of our newest, shows the versatility in our brewing.”
