Founder of Euroboozer, Martyn Railton states:
“We’re over the moon to be working with such a respected US brewer and one which help put the craft can market on the map in the US. These beers are truly trail blazers; Modus is an iconic IPA & Rudie ploughed a lone furrow in the Session IPA category for a long time so we’re delighted and proud to have struck this deal to be sole importers. To kick things off in big fashion we’re delighted to have the Ska guys over for a packed week of launch celebrations around London.”
Ska was founded by two guys, Dave and Bill, in the mid-nineties. Originally, they weren’t old enough to buy beer so they decided to make it themselves. Then, they realised they could also make tasty beer. One of the first craft brewers in what is now a state burgeoning with great beer from a big number of craft brewers, SKA revolutionised the US beer scene even further as they helped pioneer the craft can movement in the States.
Started from the back of an old VW Vento in 2003, Euroboozer was set up by beer lover Martyn Railton, initially importing Austrian brands Hirter, Stiegl and Schremser. The company soon branched out with a deal to distribute acclaimed US craft brewer Rogue and 13 years on the VW Vento has gone to be replaced with offices and a warehouse in Hertfordshire. Last year Euroboozer signed exclusive distribution deals for the prestigious Stiegl from Austria and the Belgian PALM, Rodenbach and Boon brands.
The company delivers direct to London, the South-east and across the M4 corridor to Bristol. They also work with a close network of sub-distributors around the UK. While much has changed since the company was started, Martyn and the company’s passion for finding, building and distributing a unique range of speciality and craft beers where quality is key remains the same.
