Adrian Tierney Jones is standing down as Secretary of the British Guild of British Beer Writers after eleven years in the role.

Guild Chairman, Tim Hampson said “Adrian has done a fantastic job as Guild Secretary.  During his tenure the membership, scale of activity and reputation of the Guild have grown out of all recognition.  This is a tribute to enormous amount of hard work that Adrian has put in over and above his day job of being one of the UK’s busiest and most respected beer writers.”

“The Guild Committee have ambitious plans to further increase the Guild’s influence at a very exciting time for British Beer.  We have decided to recruit a secretary to work one day a week for the organisation.  We are looking for someone with a passion for beer and the drive to take the Guild to the next level as the “go to” organisation for anyone needing expert communication about beer, brewing and pubs.”
