Fuller’s gets collaborative with two collaboration brews available during the summer

Fuller, Smith and Turner PLC, the London brewer and premium pub company, has teamed up with four craft brewers to produce two bespoke cask ales available over the summer.

Yeastie Boys, the world-famous New Zealand brewers have worked with Georgina Young, Fuller’s deputy head brewer, to create Double Summer – a delicious New Zealand-style pale ale, bursting with melon, lychee and passion fruit flavours from Nelson Savauin New Zealand hops and Jester hops from the UK.

Georgina Young said: “Like Fuller’s, Yeastie Boys is an award-winning brewery – although compared to us, they are relative newcomers to the craft beer scene. It’s been a real anglo-antipodean bonanza though combining not just hops from other sides of the world, but cultures too.”

Stu McKinlay, Director of the Yeastie Boys, said: “We’ve been inspired by Fuller’s brewers for many years and for us, this was the equivalent of a band sharing the stage with their most influential heroes. And, one step better, actually liking them too.”

In another collaboration, Fuller’s has teamed up with three other London Brewers as part of London Beer City, the annual festival that takes place this year between August 5-14. Working with brewers from Fourpure Brewing Company from South London, The Five Points Brewing Company in East London and Beavertown in North London, Head Brewer John Keeling has helped produce this ultra-hoppy 4.8% ABV pale ale.

One or both of these collaboration beers will be available in Fuller’s pubs across the Capital including, but not restricted to The Hydrant (Monument), The Castle (Acton), The Grand Union (Westbourne Park), The Distillers (Hammersmith), The George IV (Chiswick) and The Harp (Covent Garden).
